in the waiting and the breathing
somewhere in all that
in our stonedness
we were with you
allen
in the southern
california sunshine
we were all there
with our youth hanging on us
like tufts of fur falling off
an animal in molt
bits of us falling off
what happened to all that debris
of years and time
dreams even
lost
like the vibrations
of the chants and the sunshine
sound light
no difference there
in the sunlit air
hanging there
even now
in that spacetime
where are you hanging now
allen
in what spacetime
is your voice now resonating
where does your voice go
when you're dead?
